VenueScanner never charges a cancellation fee. You only need to consider Venue Host Farzi London's Cancellation Terms.
Cancel within 48 hours: VenueScanner guarantees 100% refund of the deposit on payments made through us (exclusions apply).
After 48 hours or above £500 deposit, refer to Farzi London's Cancellation Policy:
The Customer agrees to pay a deposit equal to total
room hire and minimum spend which includes VAT at 20%.
Should the minimum spend not be reached the balance will be charged as
room hire.
The first deposit instalment will be 50% of the total cost, with the
remaining 50% due no later than 14 working days prior to the event.
The total amount deposit will also include the service charge.
Payments to be made by Credit/Debit or via BACS.
Please note all outstanding balances or extra spend must be paid on
the day of the event. All prices include VAT.
A 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to the final bill.
Bookings will only be regarded as confirmed upon receipt of the
deposit.
*** Cancellation Terms & Pricing ***
In order to secure the booking the deposit needs to be paid upon
signature of the Contract and it will be deducted from the bill on the
night; if the deposit is not paid the booking will be automatically
cancelled.
The Client may cancel the Event at any time provided written notice is
given to Farzi contact subject to payment of the following charges:
If cancellation takes place:
• More than 3 calendar months before the Event: 10% of the Total
Amount for the Event (as set out in the Term Sheet);
• Between 3 calendar months to 30 working days before the Event: 50%
of the Total Amount for the Event (as set out in the Term Sheet); and
• Less than 30 working days before the Event: 100% of the Total Amount
for the Event (as set out in the Term Sheet).
In addition, 100% of any costs that cannot be recovered by Farzi for
example but not limited to staff costs, reservation fees, cancellation
fees with third parties, products that cannot be reused and food and
beverage purchased for the event.
For a cancellation notice to be effective it must be received and
accepted by Farzi contact and/or a manager of Farzi.
Credit for any deposits and Staged Payments previously made by the
Client will be given against the cancellation charges above.
In relation to covid-19, if the UK Government imposes restrictions on
events that would result in the event being unable to take place at
the venue then the Client shall be entitled to postpone the Event or
receive a full refund of the deposit paid.
In the circumstance that the event can go ahead, the parties
understand that postponement or cancellation is not an option and
therefore should the Client choose not to host the event for whatever
reason, standard cancellation terms would apply.
