What a great space! Fantastic for live entertainment and had drinks in the bar after the show, staff were friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend.

Wonderville is a new (at least to me) cabaret venue in the heart of the West end. The staff were very nice and welcoming and the wine at least was reasonably priced. I went there to see a pantomime in December 2023. This is one of two apparently rival gay pantos both claiming to originate from the Above the Stag theatre. I'm afraid that both myself and my companion found the panto to be quite dull. We're going to see the rival pantomime in January which is on at the Charing Cross theater.

Despite some great actors and fun songs the adult Panto production of Puss in Boots was neither the Above the Stag I knew and loved, nor a recognisable twist on the Panto tale. Lacking any subtlety in its innuendo, mementos unlinked to the story arc just to fit a joke, some call outs and an end number that repeated old tropes, and some out of touch comments (Jehovah Witnesses? Really?) this Panto hosted by Wonderville failed to hit the mark or come within a mile of the target. I’d happily see these actors again but only with a different writer.

This place was horrendous. I was there and the food came in shockingly small portions that filled absolutely no one in my groups stomach, the food seeming to be of poor quality. We all pushed through the dinner, overly hopeful for a breakthrough with decent deserts, but alas we were mistaken, we were served even smaller portions that didn't even seem like a kid would be happy with for that price, and the taste was mediocre at best. The dishes seemed like they were done by a five year old at best, still dirty with fingerprints and lip smudges, and the music was horrendous, seeming to be from some playlist that might have been cool years ago, but isn't old enough to be a classic, and the bathrooms were a right state and they absolutely stunk. Overall this place was absolutely not worth it's money and I would not recommend everyone coming here, as it was a waste of time, money and patience. I would recommend just getting a McDonald's, KFC, Burger King or anything along those lines and seeing a movie in a cinema, as you would get more and it would still be much, much cheaper.
