Delicious 😋, juicy and tasty suckling (locally sourced, Ginger 🐖 butcher British poultry from Yorkshire Farm). Excellent service from senor Dennis and senorita Kidi. Attention to details at Osteria MBARE.

Excellent food and services with reasonable price and superb quality! This is our 2nd time revisiting the restaurant in a week. Special big thanks to Cosimo and the Chef! We really love the pasta, cheese, drink, dessert and everything!! They prepare the cheese and without cheese version for our Ragu pasta (as my partner doesn’t eat cheese) and we really appreciate the thoughtfulness and willingness to go extra miles. They are not big restaurant group with a huge team, so it’s best to prepare 2 hours to enjoy to feast.

The server we had was very lovely and we cannot fault anything on this. We enjoyed our starters (much more than the mains) and would recommend the calamari and croquettes. The overall ambience of the restaurant was lovely and we loved the decor. I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews that say food is rather slow to come out. It seems that they are understaffed with only two employees serving all tables at the restaurant (and I suspect the same in the kitchen given how long it took our mains to come out after the starters). There were also lots of items on the menu that were unavailable which was a real shame as it meant we couldnt have some of the dishes we wanted. There was only one toilet in the restaurant for all guests and strangely, it was also used to store drinks (photo attached)… For complete transparency, we booked on The Fork app which gave us 50% off the a la carte menu. Personally, I would not recommend coming here and paying the full price for this kind of experience so book via The Fork if you are planning to visit :)
