About Venue

The beautiful Art Deco Fortune Theatre is located just a stones throw from the heart of London’s Covent Garden. Newly refurbished, the smaller capacity auditorium creates an intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect venue for smaller-scale productions and events. Equally, the theatre offers flexible spaces for workshops, lectures, conferences, showcases and much more.

Our main auditorium seats 432 people over three levels (Level 1: 189, Level 2: 113, Level 3: 130) and has four private boxes. Its carpets and seats are newly refurbished, and its stunning Art-Deco auditorium, adorned in green, gold and sky grey, creates a uniquely intimate performance space.

Great theater. It’s older but still in good shape. Seats are a bit tight but not unmanageable. Operation Mincemeat was fabulous!!!

Small old theatre - great show - quality versatile small cast all superb - only negative - microscopic toilets and way way too few of them!!! Need to be clean minimum (they weren’t) & needed to be a contortionist within the individual cubicles - quite a challenge.

It’s a tiny little theatre which is nice in that most seats have a great view (B13 was good with decent legroom and didn’t get neck ache). Wouldn’t want to be in row AA though, far too close to a high stage. The stalls are downstairs and there’s a small bar and people are constantly dodging each other. The toilets for men are tiny, if you have broad shoulders get there first. The one cubicle will require contortionist skills to get in and close the door. Operation Mincemeat was excellent though, well worth seeing.

A lovely theatre 😁 On the negative side a long walk up steep stairs to the upper (dress) circle 🙁 We were seated last row (G) with difficult view looking sharply down to the stage☹️ Upper bar with nice drinks but very slow service. You can order drinks for the interval😁 On the up side still a good view of the stage😁 A fantastic show and a must see experience. 😁 Would go again 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
