LOCKES is a neighbourhood cocktail and pizza bar in the centre of theatre land, located, three minutes walk from both Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations. LOCKES has established its reputation as a fantastic party venue with incredible hospitality delivered by Marco and team who pride themselves on hosting their guests as they would host their friends in their own home
We specialise in classic cocktails and seasonal house signatures, bottled beers, and over 20 wines and amazing sourdough Neapolitan style pizzas.
At LOCKES the music is an essential part of our brand, along with our amazing cocktails and exceptional service. We have an outstanding sound system and years of experience curating the perfect music for any occasion. For this reason our team needs to stay in control of the music and so guests are not able to play their own music or bring their own DJ.
Corporate and Social packages are available. These can be tailored dependant on event.
Our Entire Ground Floor has its own bar and capacity for 100 guests. With high tables and low sofa seating which can seat up to 100 for a standing/seated mixed reception. Please note that toilets for the venue are downstairs.

June 2024The staff at Lockes was absolutely fantastic, really friendly, approachable and accommodating. From the first moment I approached them with my query (surprise birthday party lunch celebration with ~15 guests), Steve and Marco got in touch and helped me every step of the way. On the day of the celebration the staff was amazing, they even made an extra pizza free of charge for one of the guests just because they liked a different flavour! Absolutely five stars, you cannot go wrong with Lockes, would definitely recommend!

June 2024I discovered Lockes after getting caught up in a downpour and taking cover in their front door area. Was planning on going for a drink anyway and when Steve invited us in my girlfriend and I thought why not. And glad we did! What a cracking bar Steve and Marco have! Steve offered proper old school, quality customer service and made us feel very welcome and almost like we were regulars even though it was the first time we'd been. Had a couple of the spritz specials and decided to stay for another and have a pizza too. The pizza was absolutely superb. Everything was priced fairly and given the proximity to Covent Garden I think it was all really good value. Overall, I think the other reviews have got this one right. It's just a really good bar, with great attentive staff and I will absolutely be back again! Cheers Steve! Great to meet you and we'll see you again!

July 2024We had a great time in here for our post Pride Parade celebration. There were around 65 of us. Will the manager was fantastic and made us all feel really welcome and well looked after. His communication with me as the event manager was excellent. The pizzas were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed all the food. It's in a great location with big outdoors area (though the smell was pretty gross at times but it's not their fault it's the stinky sewers and it didn't stop us sitting out there). Loads of seating, great cocktail list. An all round excellent experience. Thanks. Hope to see you next year.

June 2024Nice environment (a bit too on the loud side for me, but I know I am probably a grumpy outlier) with very nice, quick and kind service, rather good food (see picture!). For some reason they could not provide hot water/infusions of any sort, which was a bit odd, but otherwise they seem well supplied and you will hardly want for more, unless you look for some more esoteric labels.
