At The Venue on Middle St., we’re in the business of hosting stunning weddings and special events. We are housed over three floors in this former printworks, offering an industrail-luxe vibe for 3 to 300 guests partying until 3am.
As owners, we have more than 20 years of combined experience in planning and hosting events, and we are supported by a fantastic team of event professionals, all of whom are passionate about the business of celebrating.
Between us, we’ll ensure the special event you’ve envisioned becomes a reality. We can’t wait to host your celebration and help you to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
We also love to host workshops, training courses, photo-shoots, video-shoots, community events and more.
A light and airy, beautiful loft space, perfect for simple wedding ceremonies or blessings, corporate and community events. This space has a calming, elegant feel with white-washed walls, sky-high ceilings, festoon lights and beautiful original wood flooring.
Standing and seated capacity is 100. A pop-up bar can be arranged for this floor and toilet facilities can be reached on the floor below.

From the very beginning of the planning stage with Hina, to the night of the party, the Venue has been amazing! The duty manager, Shay, and the rest of staff on the night were all attentive, approachable and highly professional which made my party even more special. I couldn't recommend the Venue on Middle Street enough.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. I hired the top floor for my baby shower and it was worth every penny. Karen who was dealing with my questions and requests leading up to my event was fantastic and always made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. The manager on duty for the day in question was Shay, and she was absolutely hands down, the friendliest and most helpful customer service rep that I had ever met. Every single one of my guests who had the pleasure of speaking to her, could not sing her praises loud enough. I will definitely save this venue in my memory bank for the next time I need a venue. The Venue made my night the best. It was my 30th birthday on the weekend and they catered to my every need. Made my family and friends feel so welcome. They made sure everyone was feeling ready to party the night away. Best staff I’ve ever encountered anywhere. They made every little detail part of my day special . Hosted my baby shower on the ground floor of the venue and all of my guests commented on how beautiful it is. Shay was the staff member who was helping us throughout the day and I have to say she was exceptional! Helped us put up the backdrop and balloon arch, assisted setting up tables and was just overall a lovely spirit. Guests had lovely things to say about her hospitality. Everything we needed was provided for and the sound system is amazing and easy to use. Toilets were clean and accessible for everyone. Only 1 guest mentioned the struggle with parking because of the location of the venue, however, my dad said it was a perfect location because of all the surrounding shops. So if you forget anything you have no need to worry! The cost is well worth the hire and at the end we didn’t even have to remove rubbish bags or clean up (just remove the stuff you brought with you) this was all included in the cost and carried out by Shay. I will definitely be using this venue again for other events, perhaps my babies 1st birthday! :D THANK YOU to the venue on middle street for helping us make memories that will last a lifetime!

We held my daughters 30th birthday party this weekend at The Venue and can honestly say every guest was blown away by not just the industrial quirky decor, but also by the amazing staff! From bar staff to door staff the way they handled absolutely everything was pure class. Friendly, efficient and actually happy to be at work! They interacted with every guest and did it all with a smile! Great selection of drinks at the bar (although my husband would have loved Strongbow instead of Thatchers) and the whole place was spotless. Staff helped me with the cake cutting and also looked after anything that was left behind so we could collect the next day. I will be recommending The Venue to all our friends and family and any future clients! Amazing place and even more amazing staff - Thank you all so much for making it such a special night! 💞
