stayed for 2 nights there is a really nice pool with 2 changing rooms the sauna was closed when i came and i noticed in the rooms there aren't quite enough plug sockets, but it's a lovely building with a 'family room' in the cellar with lots of sofas and i saw guess who, it's really close to the new forest so that's amazing and beaulieu is nearby (which is why we went)

We booked a last minute night away with our two kids (age 3 & 6) and the hotel was perfect. Great location, tasty breakfast and the staff were super friendly. Rooms need a little tlc, but it didn’t spoil our stay. A special mention to Nicky on reception who made us feel very welcome. Look forward to our next stay!

We went for a festive afternoon tea today - delicious! A great selection of sandwiches and savoury treats, together with scones, cakes and pastries. Very filling and we brought some back in a take out box as we were so full. Lovely decor and efficient and friendly service too. Would definitely recommend and now want to go back for dinner!

Wanted a couple of night's getaway B&B for OH, myself and our dog. With our son staying on the 2nd night re his 21st birthday and for breakfast (currently residing away at Southampton Uni). Didn't want to book a seperate room re son staying as wanted to give him his cards and presents from family, have a catch up and he wanted to be with our dog. The booking via phone direct with the hotel group was easy and they immediately understood our requests. They had a winter discount which worked out extremely reasonable for us. The hotel is situated near to Lyndhurst shops and its an easy 5 to10 minute walk. Good location for driving to other popular places including the beaches and of course the Forest....and pubs, pubs, pubs 😍. The hotel building itself is lovely. Its clean and beautifully decorated. The car park is ample with electric car charging points if you need them. There's also a nice swimming pool. The staff are absolutely wonderful. We felt relaxed, welcomed - particularly our dog, and looked after. Lovely chats and banter with the staff and they were always extremely helpful when we requested extra water, milk, recommendations for places to go etc The breakfasts were plentiful. Wonderful amount of buffet breakfast stuff, including cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, seeds, honey, fruit juices etc. Then waiter order for mains and hot drinks. The New Forest breakfast (English) was full of taste and quality. We also had a meal on the Tuesday evening for the three of us. Myself and my son had the pizza..probably one of the best I've had. My husband had the burger and said it was amazing. The staff were also extremely kind in leaving a card and some chocolates in our room for our sons birthday and also gave him a pudding on a slate with Happy Birthday written on it after our meal. Such a lovely touch. The room was immaculate and the double bed was so comfortable with lovely bedlinen that I had two of the best night's sleep in years (insomniac). Husband slept well. Our son was on the sofa bed and was comfortable and slept well too. The bathroom was immaculate and the toiletries were very nice. In the room was a coffee machine and a kettle. Coffee, teabags and sugar. Bottles of water. TV. I would definitely give 5/5 or 10/10...I might give a 999/1000 though as would have really loved a fridge. Just for the dog food really, milk and bottle of prosecco for celebration. In the end we ordered drinks from the bar and took to our room for present opening. I understand it would be difficult re the electric saving cut off system. So I feel really mean bringing it up but just to let other dog owners know to either bring dry food or smaller tins of food. We've had two difficult months and it was the perfect stay for relaxing and recharging our batteries. Here's hoping for the Winter Discount next year as we'll definitely be booking a longer stay here. Utterly fabulous 👌 Thank you

We have just stayed here for a night and really enjoyed it. Excellent service from very nice staff. Pool is a really good size compared to many other hotel indoor pools. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. We will definitely visit again.
