Disappointing. A circular walk to and around Denbies stopping for lunch (?). Outdoors had a limited menu so we tried indoors. First it was hot and stuffy, poor air circulation. Not a great atmosphere despite relatively few people and vents in the roof. Patron's had to wait and be seated before seeing a menu. Then lo and behold, virtually the same as outdoors. Ordered drinks, taking time to think. Checked out if this was really all on offer and had it confirmed by the "waiter". So nothing really appealed. Commented on the heat/stuffiness and said, 'might as well eat outside', that being so, to which he concurred. We'd lost enthusiasm by this time. Oh dear!

Ample car parking. Good local walking paths. Excellent takeaway coffee. Clean toilets with all facilities working. Shop neat spacious and tidy and well presented

The tour was nice. Many smiling faces all around which made the day beautiful. We booked the outdoor vineyard train tour, so no much walking. Also, the wine they served was amazing. The wine estate is big and if u fancy a long walk better visit.

Went for lunch at the hatch on the lawn. Although a takeaway option is available, the queues were very long, so highly recommend booking a table so you can avoid that. Food isn't of the same standard as the Galley Restaurant inside the main Denbies building, but still perfectly good. Think more pub grub than fine dining. Options to sit undercover or out and tables are well spaced apart to ensure social distancing.

Always a nice day out in the countryside. Did the tour with a glass of sparkling rose which was nice. Interesting to hear the facts about the vineyard which to be fair is rare in the UK. You normally see these trips overseas. Had a peek at the art gallery show upstairs which was brilliant. Coffee shop is nice with a range of snacks so all round nice day out. Thanks team
