Booked a surprise trip for my wife in the last weekend in November and as we checked in we were given a free room upgrade due to a request I'd written months before, this was along with some free chocolates and 2 free drinks at the bar downstairs. The room was very spacious, clean, beds were comfortable. The hotel and staff were overall fantastic!

We had a great stay at this hotel July 2025. After a long flight and this being our first time in Scotland, we were absolutely delighted and surprised to hear we were the Epic guest of the day and upgraded to a beautiful spacious room! Being able to relax and set all our luggage down after traveling was so nice. We got some food from around the corner and were able to enjoy dinner with the lovely view from the room. Very comfortable room and bathroom. Just be careful the tub wall was very high. The location of the hotel was perfect, quieter side yet walking distance to all the sights. We had breakfast one morning, wish it opened a little earlier because we had an early morning tour and the breakfast was very good. The hotel staff were very nice as well. I recommend staying at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel and honestly can't fault it. The location is excellent as it is close to the centre but not too close so there is no night time noise. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was immaculate and clean. The breakfast was beautiful especially the haggis. We had a meal in the hotel one night and that was lovely too. The staff were exceptional and couldn't be more helpful. If we come back to Edinburgh we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend.

We had the perfect stay. On arrival our room was ready early and we had been upgraded. Every member of staff we met were welcoming and helpful. The Hotel is clean and comfortable. They have everything you need for your stay. Tea/ coffee tray, decent hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Location is perfect for all tourist attractions. Perfect hotel and we had a perfect stay. We can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so nice.

We had a lovely stay at Ten Hill Place. We stayed in a Classic Double, which was very comfortable and suitable for our needs. Highlights included the powerful double-headed shower and second guest entrance near lifts C and D, which we found very handy. All staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was basic but nice and quiet. Adjustable central heating and blackout blinds were also a big plus. Thanks for having us!
