We were on a short tour of Cambridge, Ely and Kings Lynn. As we both suffer from restricted mobility, we were very pleased to be guaranteed a ground floor room with nearby parking. The room was spacious, comfortable and well presented. The hotel is designed for large functions but still operates well as a hotel. The grounds are spacious and well cared for. Staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful. Two minor points. we would have welcomed a fridge and a safe in the room, and being restricted to meat, cheese or fish platters would have become less than ideal on a longer stay.

The venue and grounds are stunning! We picked The Old Hall for our wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Our guests had nothing but lovely things to say about it. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. They were so lovely and accommodating. Nothing was too big or too small for them to help with. The attention to detail was impeccable and our day went of without a hitch. The rooms were comfy and inviting and the food was delicious to say the least. We can’t say a bad thing about this venue, if you are getting married we highly suggest you consider this venue. It was worth every penny. Mrs M and her team were phenomenal. They are deserving of every accolade they have received. Thank you for making our day as perfect as it was. We look forward to coming back on our anniversary!

We were in town for a graduation ceremony at the Cathedral and this could not have been any better location/ hotel for our group. The property was beautiful and the rooms were top notch. We also enjoyed Friday night steak night at the in house restaurant. The service and meals were awesome. You can see the lighted Cathedral at night from most of the rooms. Don’t miss a chance to stay here.

Old Hall Ely hosted our wedding. It is an absolutely stunning venue; so nice that we changed our planned wedding dates just so we could book it. The rooms are fantastic with plenty of space and luxurious facilities. The views are amazing of the countryside, especially with Ely cathedral just on the crest of the adjacent hill (an excellent backdrop as the sun sets). The best part of The Old Hall Ely is the staff. It's a family run establishment with exceptional additional staff that are highly communicative and go above and beyond to assist their guests. All the staff take great pride in their work which is evident from the first time you drive into the site and see the exquisitely cultured and crafted hedges. We have additionally been to a number of the event days that The Old Hall put on such as the 'Steak night' and 'Dining Experiance' which have been consistently excellent events. We wholeheartedly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds. We were there to celebrate my birthday and to receive a birthday card was a lovely touch. The hotel staff were friendly, polite, informative. The Cathedral room was stunning. We can definitely recommend this room and hotel. Breakfast was delicious with a very good choice. We will be back.
