The Terrace is located in the Guildhall in the heart of the city with Exeter Central station a 2-minute walk away, as is Exeter bus and coach station located in Paris Street, with Exeter St Davids station just 10 minutes away.
By Train:
Exeter has two main train stations located within easy distance to the city centre. Exeter St David’s is the main hub, providing links to most major cities across the UK. Exeter Central is the closest station to the High Street and connects all of Exeter’s surrounding areas to the city. Great Western Railway, South West Trains, Cross Country and Virgin all provide frequent services to and from Exeter.
Parking:
With over 4,700 paid parking spaces spread out over numerous car parking sites within the city centre, parking is made easy.
Parking is available through the adjoining Guildhall pay on exit, multi-storey car park.

March 2024Came here for mothers day lunch- the food was incredible and the waiter was lovely and attentive. We also got given free Prosecco which sadly only my mum could drink as I’ve recently quit drinking, but it was a really nice touch and super generous! I loved how the restaurant was decorated. There was also a super talented live duo, who sang a lot of songs that I know, so that was really enjoyable. Overall, perfect experience, I had a lot of fun- thankyou so much!

March 2024New to Exeter and what an introduction!! The team were friendly and attentive from moment we walked in and as bars go it’s really cool! Sat out on the Terrace with a Beer which tasted great and the music was cool, could have done with a cushion on the chairs but we were offered one when we mentioned it which was lovely of them! Food was great, but portion sizes were very generous and we couldn’t quite finish it all! Stayed for live music which was awesome and so nice to see, followed by a DJ in the cosy Clubroom downstairs! Reminded me of Cafe Mambo or Pikes Ibiza. Really cool vibes, 100% rate it.

July 2023Great music, very good atmosphere. It was a lovely evening thank you. Update - 16 July 2023 Fantastic table service, free olives and nuts due to delay on food delivery. Staff were super attentive and apologetic for lack of usual food standards. They also discounted the bill due to the wait and some cold food. We had a free bottle of prosecco and the staff member took great care of us and was constantly liaising with the kitchen. My food was lovely as I had a salad with goats cheese, delicious. The tea was lovely and it was served in lovely cream and brown teapots.
