Nice pub, limited IPA options on draft

Been locals for years, had a nice evening, drinks and a meal and left van due to unforseen circumstances we couldn't pick van up the following day. Arrived to angry landlord who had no customer skills and was quite happy to lose our regular custom. Trying to support local Fareham businesses.....landlord really needs to work on his personal skills

The secret garden out the back is a charm and the feel of the place is pleasant with a good range of beers. However, I bought a Quak beer (one of my favourite Belgian brews) sometime either last year or earlier this year and it costed roughly £6, pricey but it is a specialist import after all. I went in a month ago to buy it again and they are now charging somewhere between £8-£9 for said beer... The barmaid didn't warn me of the price before proceeding to crack it open either which I thought was a silly move. How is that hike in price justified even? Really nice food though.
