What a big disappointment. I went with some friends to celebrate their birthday. I don't know if Gaucho are trying to save money by cutting corners but the food was dreadful. For a start the cokes we ordered were incredibly watered down - think machine coke from a KFC with lots of ice levels but worse. My friend even joked the cokes tasted more like water than the table water. My steak was a very greasy cheap cut of meat. It was literally sitting in a pool of it's own fat. Not exactly what I would expect from a restaurant which prides itself on it's beef. Lastly the table waiter was very rude. He did not go through the cuts of steak with the table, and spent the whole time taking our order looking down his nose at us. Unfortunately he was a representation of the poor quality experience we had at night. It is unsurprising Gaucho went into administration in 2018. The Charlotte Street revamp was suppose to be it's flagship enterprise - it looks like they have learnt nothing from their brush with collapse. There was so many better places to eat around Charlotte street. Don't waste your time and money here.

Social set lunch great value & great taste too

Insane service (as in positive), amazing food, wonderful atmosphere. I loved the new decore and interior design, I think this place is truly recommended.

Great service. Great Steak. Felt COVID Safe. Think it was Mike our server super knowledgeable about the food. Maitre D was super welcoming, deffo wanna come here again. Special treat and need to watch my pennies. Only super critical comment is the "Chips" are more "fries" by definition. Please add chunky chips to your menu rather than fries. Thank you so much for the dinner and watch out for the 12.5% charge. Helped with the eat put o help out scheme. Disappointed i did not take a photo of my amazing steak. Deffo one for the steak lovers.
