The Halfway House Brentwood, Exclusive Hire

Great hall, Great staff and service. Everyone is friendly and we're very helpful. The price for halfway house is very competitive compared to the local venues. I'll definitely book this hall again in the future.

Great food. Had cottage pie, which was really good. Others had the chicken which they said was really tasty. Service excellent, price really reasonable. Always disappointed with desserts when eating out, but not this time. Fab cheesecake and others had roulade which they said was lovely. Would definitely go again and would recommend to others . Very nice inside very clean, dirty dishes cleared quickly. plenty of seating, not cramped, nice decor 👌

Disappointing Experience The restaurant itself was nicely presented, but we were seated on the bar/pub side, which felt a bit tired and in need of an update. We ordered a Sunday lunch, which was enjoyed, and a lasagne that, unfortunately, was let down by an overpowering cheese topping. It was far too rich and strong in flavour — unlike any lasagne I’ve had before, and not in a good way. I actually left half of it, which is a first for me. We’ve often driven past this pub and were curious to try it, but sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. We won’t be returning.
