Citation, Exclusive Hire With Garden

Our graduation event at Citation went on so smoothly and fabulous. We could not have made a better decision choosing to have our event at this venue. The team on the night were exceptional starting from the security on door who were approachable and patient. Staff were friendly and greeted all on entry. On the night the staff in charge made sure to keep in touch with us from time to time and arrange timings for speeches, awards etc and always kept us informed with what was happening next. The dinner service went on amazing and the food was delicious, with the lentil soup and ham loin getting the most praises! Staff were always around and made sure during dinner to ask guests if all was okay and if anything was required. The bar staff were highly praised by all and always served us with a smile and were really patient considering the crowd - a special shoutout to bartender Xander as he made sure to bring out conversation with guests and his service was impeccable. The cocktails were loved by all and said they tasted unreal. The DJ provided was amazing, and had music loved by all but was also really approachable and patient with the numerous requests throughout the night. The lights, table decor and set up was really well done and every attention to detail was taken. Zoe the events coordinator took every bit of trouble to make sure every detail and requirement was met and we loved the exceptional service and communication throughout! We would highly recommend!

I was at Citation for a business event. It is a beautiful space within a historic building. The staff were first class.

We would like to thank all the staff in Citation for such an amazing wedding day! The whole team were incredible, so helpful and attentive throughout the day and making sure everything ran smoothly. Hannah communicated with us throughout the wedding planning process, helping us to organise the day and she could not be more helpful! She really took a lot of stress away! Before the wedding we both loved experiencing the menu tasting, we were made to feel so special and loved every option we tried, it was difficult trying to choose our own options for the day as they were all so good! The chefs and waiting staff were brilliant, so many guests told us the food was amazing and the best food they’ve had at a wedding! The DJ was excellent too, he played all our song requests and played music which kept the dance floor buzzing and full all night. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day. Our families and friends both couldn’t give Citation enough praise, saying it was the perfect pick for our wedding venue! I would highly recommend Citation to anyone considering it to host their wedding day!
