Visited for a conference and really enjoyed the experience! The central location is very convenient, especially for guests not staying at the hotel. Everything was well organized — from the conference halls and audiovisual equipment to the lunches and coffee breaks. Staff were always friendly and helpfull.

This is what I always imagined a five-star hotel experience would be like… The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. I have not experienced this level of customer service in many years. The room was absolutely immaculate and beautifully furnished. The wider hotel itself is hugely charming and impressive throughout. The bars and restaurants were fantastic. I just cannot fault this hotel... I would definitely stay again!

We were very happy with the whole experience. The decor of the hotel was impressive. The service was first class. We appreciated the care that was given to us as two out of three of the party had allergies and this was accommodated easily. Our server for afternoon tea was Blessing and we found that she was very helpful and friendly, as were all the staff that attended to us. I would recommend afternoon tea here.

We had the afternoon tea with the landmark. The staff is amazing, very respectful. The entrainment was amazing very sitting and relaxing. The food was alright I was expecting a high quality food but I didn’t get that. The sandwiches were very basic, the scones was good and delicious. The dessert was amazing aswell. I expected a bit more from the sandwiches some sort of luxury or different flavour. I loved that the sandwiches were unlimited so that was nice

Worst Hotel Experience in the UK If there were an award for the worst hotel in the UK, this place would win it hands down. The service is the cheapest I’ve ever seen, yet I’m paying 5-star prices for what feels like a rundown 2-star experience. The bed and pillows were unbearable—even after ordering every option they had, I still couldn’t sleep. The mattress felt like it came straight from the 90’s, and the room was dusty on top of that. Housekeeping is a complete joke. Instead of cleaning, they leave the room filthy—I found myself tidying up after them. Night service is equally useless; I honestly don’t know why they even bother offering it. The room itself is poorly designed: lighting is inconvenient and barely functional. The elevator is painfully slow and always packed. At one point, I waited 20 minutes, only to realize there’s no clear stairway alternative. This was by far one of the worst stays of my life, and I would never recommend it to anyone.
