Dreadfully poor stay. Stayed in the supieor cottage. Linen was so old there were holes and the staff had obviously put the good side on the bed and torn side underneath. Room was cold. Tired looking. No tea making facilities to be found. Breakfast we were told to help ourselves to the continental table … and found nothing really continental about it. Few bowls of cereals, large bowl of yogurt to spoon from, a bowl of cut of fruit and some fresh juices. There are 2/3 star hotels which provide more. Even a banana. And separate yogurt pots. But here nothing. It was dismal. Breakfast menu. Even worse. Nothing on there for vegetarians or Vegans. My smoked salmon was tasteless. No toast. Just sliced up bread. Ridiculously overpriced for not a lot. Service was slow too. Probably the worst 4 star hotel stay I’ve been since 2012. Best part was the walk around the garden.

Came for Afternoon Tea in one of the Garden rooms and was a great experience. The cakes, scones, sandwiches, arranchini and sausage roll were all delicious.

Stunning views great accommodations and food

Lovely evening in a fine restaurant. Food and service were excellent and it wasn't as pricy as you might expect.

Beautiful place, beautiful garden. Staff very friendly and helpful. Afternoon tea very tasty. Highly recommended place to visit.
