The Milk Float, Roof Terrace (Partial Hire)

Moored in the heart of Hackney Wick, less than three minutes' walk from the station, The Milk Float is one of the busiest summer spots in East London. In winter, heaters, hot cocktails and early sunsets over the water await you.

With a 50-person capacity roof terrace overlooking the water and an intimate cabin space with private booths downstairs, The Milk Float can cater to a range of bookings and events for up to eighty guests.

Serving Five Points beer on tap, a vibrant seasonal cocktail menu and a small but excellent wine list, The Milk Float is a favourite with locals and visitors alike.

Bandito Burger on the back deck offers a delicious selection of Latin-themed burgers, hot dogs and loaded patatas bravas. They have fantastic vegan options too!

With two larger 6-8-person booths and five 4-5-person box tables, The Milk Float Roof Terrace has ample room for a range of groups big and small!

Our partial-hire option allows you to reserve one or any assortment of these booths and tables to suit the needs of your event.

With parasols spread out across the terrace, our Roof Terrace is the hangout for those wanting to enjoy one of our famous cocktails overlooking the water. The roof is also fitted with heaters for those cooler nights, making this the perfect spot to wind down after work and after dark.

This space is ideal for groups looking to book tables for midweek evenings. We have attractive food and drinks packages available for groups wishing to pre-order for midweek events.

The whole Roof Terrace can be reserved for exclusive use on an hourly minimum spend (£350ph midweek and £450ph on weekends). For smaller groups wanting to reserve a table or an area, our group packages start out at £32 per person.
