I am coming to the end of my 10 day quarantine at the Renaissance hotel. In general it has been okay. The room was reasonably comfortable although not as clean as it should have been. The staff were all friendly and helpful. What really was poor and needs dramatic improvement was the food. Really bad and very little effort and money invested. On one evening a chili con carne was on the menu. When it arrived it was a watery gravy filled with red, green and yellow peppers. If it contained a table spoon of meat and beans it was a lot. Sandwiches were all microwave heated so much so, that the bread rolls were hard and dried out. All these were prepackaged, not freshly made. Very disappointing to say the least.

I did 10 day quarantine at the Renaissance in June. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel and security staff were friendly and helpful. Any request was dealt with promptly. The joy of being able to go outside a couple of times a day and exercise in the huge car park made things a lot easier. The food was excellent, my only comment would be there was too much! Crockery and cutlery were supplied, along with washing up liquid so no eating out of plastic containers. Having heard reviews of other quarantine hotels I feel blessed to have been allocated the Renaissance and if I could be guaranteed to get this hotel again I wouldn’t hesitate to do the mandatory quarantine. An excellent hotel with amazing staff, despite occasional (and considerable delays in rooms service). All varieties of wonderful cuisine and state of the art facilities. The rooms and amenities are top notch; you can't but love your stay here. Along array of rooms overlooking the beautiful Heathrow runway. On most days , you wake up to the beautiful sight of a constant stream of international flights either taking off or landing.

Stayed here a couple of times now and the whole experience has been brilliant. Would definitely recommend to stay in a runway view room. Well worth it.

I stayed in quarantine period in this hotel. I was very pleasure for everything. All staff were so friendly and helpful. One day I did mistake and chosed not halal meal and than they noticed and send me halal meal. Especially the chef’s foods was so delicious and better than outside restaurants. I will miss this chef’s foods. Thanks for everything.
