During my recent stay at the hotel, I was delighted to find that despite the challenges of a busy holiday weekend, the impeccable service and attention to detail remained unchanged. This marked my second visit in just a month, and I must say, any concerns I had about potential staffing shortages during the Easter period were quickly dispelled. One highlight of this visit was indulging in the hotel's breakfast offerings, which surpassed my expectations in every way and every aspect contributed to a truly delightful start to the day.I have no doubt that I will be returning to this hotel in the future, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable location.

I have rarely been this disappointed. This is my second visit to the hotel: the first was good and this past week was a disaster. You pay for a five-star hotel where the air conditioning system works at the level of a two-star hotel. Best of all, the staff knows their air conditioning is a disaster. And they openly admit that. What do we call it when we charge you five stars, but give a service for two stars..? No deduction from the price occurred to them. Just when I thought I had found a hotel for my stays in London, disappointment came… which is a shame because the hotel has an excellent location. However, like many - they do not know how to maintain a high level of service.

Very disappointed as treated myself and best friend to afternoon tea here on Friday, we got moved around 3 times, was told my booking was wrong, even though it was booked through your own website! Had to look for staff to help and was twice asked if we were part of a bigger group, it appears that as we weren't then we were not important enough! The man that finally helped and looked after us was nice and afternoon tea was also nice. Lovely hotel in a good location but staff and service mean we will not return again. As it was not busy I would expect better, even if we weren't staying in the hotel and only having afternoon tea.

Nice stay that was sadly ruined at the end. Booked this hotel for my pregnant wife’s birthday; staff were accommodating and the room was very nice and clean. They left some lovely macaroons and a “Happy Birthday” note for when we returned from our day out. However, it then started to fall apart. We had to twice ask for extra pillows, we enquired about decaf tea and no-one got back to us (so I assume this is not something they stock). We then had the battle with the air conditioning (mentioned in other reviews) - it kept coming on all night and caused a lot of frustration: the next morning we raised this with reception staff who advised that you need to phone reception and they can turn it off?!? Firstly; it would be good for them to include this on a note in the room to advise their customers but secondly; this is a 5* hotel and customers can’t TURN THE AIR CON OFF?!? Ridiculous! Lastly; we left in the morning to go and get breakfast and took our suitcase to the car. We left some belongings in the room, so we could come back and check out afterwards. We put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door panel. However; when we arrived back, we walked into the room to find that it had been fully serviced as if we had checked out. Luckily, some items were still in the safe where we had left them. The drinks that we had left in the fridge had gone. Yes, they were just drinks but my wife (due to her pregnancy) needs fizzy drinks to help with sickness - especially on car journeys and she was gutted that hers was missing. We went down to reception and explained what had happened. The staff were apologetic and quickly called the domestic staff to try and locate the drinks. After a wait, they advised that they had managed to get the drinks back (again; not sure if they had needed to fish these out of a bin!). It turns out they found 2 of the 3 drinks but not my wife’s fizzy water. By this time, my wife was so upset and just wanted to go home. We weren’t even offered any type of compensatory drink. They had assumed we had checked out and we didn’t, ignored the do not disturb sign and binned our belongings. Not what you would expect from such an establishment. We will not be planning on going back soon or recommending to anyone.

This is not five starts hotel ... Reception Team and Managers are not in five stars hotel level. They were not able to perform simple activities, like late check-in or receiving a package. We were surprised by Manager Patrick approach, which more tried to get rid from customer, instead of providing a service. Important note, hotel is not collaborating with Booking. We were charged extra money by Booking for “no show”, because Reception team was not able to perform appropriately late check-in. The problem is that hotel Managers are ignoring Booking requests to get details about our stay in hotel. I am not recommending this hotel, there are so many other better options in London.
