About Venue

The View is at the heart of The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Founded by the Royal Charter in 1800 it is the professional home of surgery in England and internationally. It is a friendly and inclusive space for the College’s 30,000 members to network and develop, focussing on connectivity between all specialities and all stages in surgical careers. We are now taking enquiries for meetings, conferences, receptions, corporate and private events and parties.

The View – Our Newly Renovated Sixth-Floor Event Space

Located on the sixth floor, The View is our newly refurbished event venue, offering a flexible and stylish setting with panoramic views across Lincoln’s Inn Fields and the London skyline. The space comprises two spacious and versatile rooms, ideal for hosting a wide variety of events.

The Conference Suite is the larger of the two rooms and can accommodate up to 300 guests in a theatre-style layout or 120 guests in cabaret style. For added flexibility, the space includes a partition wall that allows it to be divided into two smaller areas, each holding up to 150 guests theatre-style — an excellent option for more intimate sessions or concurrent breakout events.

The Park View room serves as a perfect space for catering, networking, or pre-event receptions. It offers direct access to the terrace, providing guests with stunning views over the city, and benefits from plenty of natural daylight. This room also features partition options for added versatility.

Both rooms are fully equipped with essential AV facilities, including a projector and screen (with ClickShare connectivity), repeat screens, wireless microphones, a lectern, and a built-in PA system — ensuring a seamless experience for speakers and attendees alike.
