Galleon Studios, Infinity Cove

Since 2007 Galleon Studios have provided fantastic filming facilities for marketers, broadcasters and independents. Offering two amazing Manchester studio hire spaces dedicated to filming, offering free lighting, wi-fi, parking, electricity, make-up room, dressing room, lounge, kitchen and shower facilities. We're a specialist green screen facility and have a large infinity cove ideal for product filming, commercials, VR, AR, web videos, music videos and productions large and small. We also have a soundproof studio ideal for sets, pieces-to-camera and interviews. We're regularly used by BBC, ITV, Channel and Sky for various factual and entertainment programs. What makes us different is the breadth of skills and equipment we have all under one roof.
We're happy to offer lighting included in any studio hire regardless of whether you choose our infinity cove or the soundproof studio. What's more, you can add on a lighting gaffer if your shoot needs specialist lighting. We also have a range of kit; not just the obvious camera and mics but more specialist, fun stuff like motion control rigs for easily repeatable shots, autocue so you're talent is never lost for words, a live keyer to see your keyed footage as you shoot. We offer a 10 hour day as standard and we also have free wi-fi, free parking and include electricity at no extra cost. The studio has a comfortable lounge and a garden for your downtime, it also has a make-up room and dressing room for actors and talent to get ready. We also have a kitchen which means you can prepare food or store lunch in our fridge. Speaking of food and drink we have free sweets, biscuits, teas, coffees and soft drinks for all our hirers. We also have various catering packages available.
In our Manchester hire studios, we've covered every eventuality even offering a first aider with every hire (in case the worst happens). The Infinity Cove is an unrivalled blank canvas with which to film your production. The space is generally green for special effect work and the walls curved to allow any object or person on it to be seen as "floating".
The studio is provided with full lighting and we also offer free wi-fi, parking, refreshments and a generous 10 hour day. The cove is supplied pre-lit so you can come in and film immediately. For more specialist lighting we can offer a lighting technician to help get the look you're after.
We also supply kit such as a live green screen keyer that allows you to preview your final key as you shoot as well as other useful things like green screen morph suits, treadmills and turntables .
The infinity cove can be painted any colour you wish.
