Wow wow wow, The Hotbox is something I can't recommend enough, totally breathtaking and stunning. The staff here are super friendly and efficient. Going from the massive hot tub to the slide into the loch is a great experience, warm back up with some wine and a sauna. Def go here and if you can do it at sun set.

Avoid the Ferryman’s Inn bar at the Marina. Insanely slow service, high prices, no frills, cigarette ends all over the grass, no social distancing, no staff wearing masks, toilets filthy, classless place top to bottom. A prime example of some “entrepreneurs” cashing in on a beautiful area & tourist trap view of the loch with a substandard business. Clearly no care for what they do at all. Feels like a smash and grab job. As someone who’s visited the area every summer since childhood it makes me sad to see. Potential to be the best place in the area. Actually the worst I’ve been to. Won’t be back. Feel dirty just having been there. (review for bar / food service part of business, no idea about other services like rooms etc)

Excellent accommodation,well equipped and spotlessly clean. Views and scenery breathtaking. We booked paddle boarding and kayaking and the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and patient ensuring our experience was memorable. We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the Ferryman (albeit currently limited menu) both nights as atmosphere and music together with fire pit was all that was needed to round off the day. We will certainly visit again and will try and book the spa next time as looked very inviting

This is the gorgeous new Chicken Burger from Taymouth Marina. Probably one of the best chicken burgers I have ever eaten. Comes with a portion of chips which were amazing! And a charcoal bun which tastes and looks awesome! Definitely a must try. Will be back again.
