Had an enjoyable stay at Kents Hill Park. Being a training/conference centre, it has a college feel to it which I rather liked. The room was decent with a fab bathroom. Breakfast (full English) was great and the staff helpful. Didn't get to use the free access to the heath club but checked out the pool and it looked really nice. Will defo swim next time I stay here. Had to post a pic of the sign in the main car park which was both confusing and amusing. When your branding is the shape of an arrow, it's probably best not using it on your signposts!

I went to a conference at Kents Hill Park Training Centre, including meals and a two-night stay. The facilities are bland and efficient and I found them clean and easy to use. Some of the chairs looked a bit tired and worn, but they were comfortable even for the longer sessions. The food was good and fresh and plentiful with excellent choices, but there was a fair bit of queuing to get it and I found it hard to balance my tray in the limited space while reaching down below the counter for glasses and mugs. The dining space gets noisy at busy times. We also had long queues at the bar -- more staff needed, and more card machines. The bar area itself is very comfortable and the decor is welcoming and tasteful with some surprisingly nice views out of the picture windows. I really liked the outdoor spaces -- perfect for getting some sunlight during long conference days. My room was compact but clean and it had everything I needed. I liked the nice simple old fashioned key system -- very easy to use. The accommodation is quite difficult to navigate -- the signage is confusing and I kept going the wrong, very long way trying to get back to the conference spaces. I never did find the lift!

The room was comfortable but basic. More modern rooms have direct USB style sockets for phone chargers for example. I knew we would be arriving early so requested am early check-in. The reply I had just stayed 'Subject to availability, but when I arrived I was told there was a £10 charge for each additional hour before 2pm which seemed unreasonable seeing as it was not mentioned when I specifically asked. Also the room was booked for 2 people and only 1 towel was provided. I had to ask twice for additional towels.

Attended venue for corporate conference. Lunch was provided buffet style, which was acceptable. However, rather than offer delegates the chance to take excess food home, I was told that we weren't allowed to take food away, it would be promptly cleared at 2pm, and then witnessed them tipping all of it into black bins. Utterly disgraceful, haven't seen such rampant food waste in years. Sent them an email to complain, couldn't even be bothered to respond in a month. Avoid this venue and facilities.
