Carousel & Home Leeds are two brand new venues in the heart of Leeds opening in April 2024 following a £2.25 million investment. Carousel features a great all day bar environment with quality street food, live music & all the fun of the fair with a games arcade & more. After dark, Home Nightclub will offer festival levels of production, VIP experiences and will play host to the best DJ’s in the UK. Already known for its vibrant nightlife, the Leeds’ scene is set to get an amazing new attraction in The Light on Albion Street. It's a major refurbishment project and is tipped to become one of the most exciting entertainment venues in Yorkshire.
Carousel is located on the ground floor, shining boldly out onto Albion Street. A quality bar which will bring a uniquely chilled experience to the area during the day and in the early evening, live music and DJ sets, making it a great after-work choice; Whatever time of day or night, there’s something for everyone.
Downstairs will also host Home Nightclub, a brand new multi-room club venue aiming to become Leeds’ new favourite late night party destination with great DJs, a focus on the highest levels of production and VIP experiences for those special occasions.

September 2023Popped in for a glass (or two) of wine and a few nibbles. Great tasting small sharing plates and lovely wines by the bottle or glass. They had the winemaker from Ami pouring on the night and so got to chat about his unique burgundy wines. Friendly service, relaxed bright atmosphere. Recommend!

September 2023I visit carousel in one of their guest chef nights. Guest chef was the awarded with Michelin star George Kataras from Greece. The food was beyond any expectations. Every course of the menu was amazing we couldn’t decide which was our favorite. The atmosphere and the music was great . The staff was very polite and professional. It was an unforgettable dinner.

September 2023Beautiful wine bar in Fitzrovia to distract you from the rainy London weather. The wine selection and food were excellent. The pork skewers you could taste the charred bits, and the pineapple glaze was a nice sweet and tangy touch. The hash brown was crispy, and surprisingly the anchovy added to the dish. The hash brown came with n’duja just to spice it up slightly. The service was also amazing, we were seated at the top counter but they offered to move us to the table as it was more intimate. There were hooks on the wall and table for coats and hangers. They also provide both sparkling and still tap water. The bathrooms had individual stalls, clean and they provided hand cream. Totally recommend for any occasion!

August 2023The food is good - some dishes are quite overpriced. £18 for a cucumber salad! We really enjoyed the heritage tomato and mackerel salad and my friends said the fried chicken was really good. Quite limited options for vegetarians on the menu that we had. Service was friendly.

February 2024Was really disappointed with Carousels food. I have been to many small sharing plate restaurants around London and New York and this was my least favourite. The decor and vibe of Carousel was really cool, and the service was great. The waitress even gave me tasters of various wines. However our bill was 94£ for bread, fried chicken ( 2 pieces) and scallops (3 for 24£ or something) the scallops were horrible- couldn’t even stomach one. Slimy and not a good texture in the mouth. The sage cocktail was the only good part about the meal! Sorry..
