Great food, brilliant games (did the Axe Throwing and Golf) and a spot on venue. We went midday midweek so it was quieter and less atmosphere than we've seen at night/weekends. Though the decor, style and design adds a lot. Highly recommended for any events really.

Came on a Wednesday afternoon.. hardly anyone in but we had a laugh! Frankie was great on the axe throwing, helped us (even though we couldn’t hit anything!!)

EDIT: Boom Battle Bar replied to this review, claiming they were sorry and for me to email them so they could investigate. I had, in fact, already emailed them with no reply. So, as they'd asked, I emailed them again, still with no reply. So, publicly, they want to appear to care, but there's actually zero interest. I had a booking for shuffleboard at 5pm on the 27th of April. There was a young child amongst our group and, when we arrived for our booking, it was instantly obvious that the environment was totally unsuitable for a child. The place was filled with very loud, drunk people. The website states that the bar is child free after 7pm, which made me believe that a 5pm booking would allow for a child friendly experience and environment, but that's definitely not what we got. I waited for quite some time for someone to talk to me at the reception, so I could voice my concerns. When someone finally spoke to me, they said they couldn't help and said a manager would have to sort it. I waited longer and someone else came over, who I assume was the manager. I explained the situation and that we didn't feel comfortable going ahead with the booking and detailed the reasons why. I expected to be offered a refund since we weren't getting the activity we'd booked and paid for, but they just said they understood and wished me a good rest of the day. It was very disappointing, because we were there for a birthday celebration, and had to leave without playing.
