The Palm House, Full Venue Hire

We usually research restaurants before trying them, but ended up popping in to the Palm House sight unseen after getting shut out at a few other places. We were very pleasantly surprised - the food was great, and the service was even better. It was crazy busy, but Rita made sure we were seated and served quickly and with a smile. Highly recommended - thank you, Rita!

If you go to the bottomless Margarita's and a Taco's and want a fun night go with low expectations of the food but high expectations of the drinks. The atmosphere was so fun! The dining experience was disappointing. We were asked to wait at the bar as our table was not ready, it was clear the booking staff had forgotten about us. When I asked twenty minutes later and was finally seated (without an apology) the table was really dirty and I had to ask one of the waiters to clean it. After being seated late the food arrived pretty much straight away however the taco's were very stale and seemed like they had been sat out for a while. We were not offered a choice of taco's and my vegetarian friend luckily was happy to eat the plantain ones. If this was on the booking form and I missed this happy to take responsibility for this. We also had to ask several times for cutlery, plates and napkins for our food. The drinks were great and they were very generous / accommodating with bottomless Margaritas. I do also want to point out once we had an assigned waiter to our table he was brilliant, friendly and very helpful. We ended up having another drink at the bar afterwards and it was such a good vibe! The music was great and everyone was up dancing.
