About Venue
Armourers’ Hall is one of London’s most historic venues, with a history dating back to 1346 when the Worshipful Company of Armourers first took up residence at the site. The company's present charter was granted in 1708 by Queen Anne, the venue is now used both by the livery itself and for private events.
The Drawing Room, also known as The 'Gold' Room is dominated by many magnificent paintings and on the floor is a superb copy of the famous Ardebil Persian carpet at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Spendid place. Lovely history and artefacts. No riff-raff - you need to be invited!

Visited here as part of an organised tour. This was led by Peter who gave us a fascinating history of the city of London guilds & that of the Armourers Hall in particular. This was the most interesting & informative tour I have been on & I thoroughly enjoyed it.
