POLPO is a bàcaro. This is a Venetian word to describe a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young Italian wines. We offer tasty small plates, Prosecco and Spritz in a setting that reflects the gloriously faded elegance of Venice and the of charms of its backstreet wine bars.

We’ve been to Polpo quite a few times and we always have a great evening here! We particularly love the octopus carpacaccio, oysters gratin, meatballs, and the seafood fregola. Thank you Ciro for the best night!

Perfect bank holiday well spent by myself with the delicious & aromatic food. Definitely will return Polpo in Duke of York square in Sloane soon to try another dish. And on top of that Lorenzo’s service was very authentic which goes along with the atmosphere
