The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and couldn’t fault it, hot, delicious and plenty of choice. Would certainly recommend staying here.

I chose this hotel because it was very close to the business venue I was attending. I'm very pleased I did, as the area felt safe, the hotel was friendly, very clean, and my hotel room was a lovely size and well appointed. Quiet too considering I was facing the road. A nice change to the faceless hotel chains, with plenty of quiet seating in the foyer to work in next day before heading off to the station. If I'd had more time, I would have explored the area. It's definitely a hotel I would stay at again if coming to London for both business and pleasure. The only slight negative is the buffet breakfast, where there could have been more choice, but what was provided was adequate.

Enjoyed a very good stay here, thanks to the exceptional staff. They were so welcoming and accommodating, which really enhanced my experience. The location is brilliant & very convenient, just a short walk from Great Portland Street tube station. I enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep. I’ve stayed here a few times in the past and will definitely do so again in the future 😀

I have stayed for three days with my sister, I cannot recommend enough this hotel. Location is perfect in a peaceful street a stone away from Oxford street. Really convenient to explore London. Customer service is just brilliant they were lovely, extremely helpful and great professionals. The standard room is not huge however spotless, quiet and the comfiest bed I’ve tried in London so far. I will be back for sure.

This was our last hotel of our holiday and we honestly didn't expect all that much as we'd had only average hotel-experience during our time away. The Gem Fitzrovia surprised us in the end, though. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Room was exactly as shown on pictures. Spacious and very clean (and quiet, especially for London)!! Very comfortable bed. Breakfast wasn't too busy and held as a rich buffet. Very good choice (we booked the full english so were able to choose from hot and cold options). The location was in walking distance to where we needed it to be, located on a mostly quiet street. Only let down: We planned on ordering room service on our last night and were looking forward to the club sandwiches. Sadly it seemed that on that evening there was one (!) function happening in the restaurant and we were told while ordering, that it may take a bit longer for the food to arrive. They couldn't say approx. how much longer. We gave up after nearly 2hrs and 2 more phone calls and just cancelled the room service. Went out to the Sainsbury's right opposite. I'd rather have been told that room service was not possible than wasting 2hrs waiting for food.
