February 2024Lovely to visit a place that has been on my doorstep for years. We had an informative and very interesting tour followed by a light sandwich lunch perfect scones and as much tea and coffee as we could drink. I never fully realised the historical significance of the building or the family. Lots or artifacts, art and architecture to appreciate. Staff and volunteers couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend!

March 2024Went along on Easter Sunday. They use the words “ Easter extravagance. “ Wow Extravagance was not a word I’d use. 3 Adults One elder, she will hate me for that. And a child. £38, what a rip off. If it had not been fur wanting to enjoy our Easter break I would have asked for a refund. What was the charge for. Not even an Easter treat for tge 3 year old. And please don’t say I should have asked. Fur £38 I expect. You failed. Who ever is in charge should look long and hard at themselves. Be honest. Do you think there is any value?
