What can I say, what a brilliant venue! Doesn't look much from the outside but when you get inside it's beautiful, it's also a great size, not too big, not too small, honestly perfect! The only thing I would say is it is standing only, although there are steps you can sit on, don't expect to be sat through the concert. Some people were kicking off at each other because they thought you had to sit down, you don't! If you go, get there early and go to the front of the balcony, you will get a great view. I'd definitely come back here!

So much love to the accessibility team! I visited Manchester Albert hall back in March to see Laura marling. I was originally meant to go with a friend who couldn’t then make it so last minute I invited my mum. I emailed the accessibility team in the morning of the gig and explained pretty anxiously that mum had some serious health conditions that means she could not walk upstairs or very far, and needed specific seating. I was in shock at how quickly they responded and made arrangements with no bother whatsoever, me and mum were so so chuffed. We were to skip the queue and brought refreshments to us (on the house!) we couldn’t believe how great everyone was. It ended up being the best gig I’ve ever been to, even though I’ve seen Laura many times before, and that’s because I was able to go with my lovely mum. She sadly passed last month due to these health conditions. I’m rewatching the gig and needed to express my thanks to the team once again for making this incredible experience possible. Lots of love, Hayley and Helen xxx

Great little venue, ideal for those who want to enjoy live events but don't want to deal with long queues and big crowds. The building itself is beautiful, being an old methodist church is has a nice look about it. We opted to stand/sit on the balcony which gave us a great view of the stage. The show itself was fantastic and the acoustics in the main hall are awesome. One bit of advice would be it you are planning on going up on the balcony, take something soft to sit on or be prepared for a very numb bum by the end of the night.

An amazing beautiful and historic venue to visit. Purchased tickets for the Inspiral Carpets concert on Saturday 13th December. A great set by the band who interacted with the audience throughout. The place was packed out and I'm sure everyone who attended weren't disappointed. I made special arrangements with the in-house accessibility team who went above and beyond to ensure the night went without a hitch. Gina and the team reserved accessible seats for us on the upper floor and Shannon worked her socks off in taking drinks orders and bringing them to our seats. I have never experienced the professional and supportive service that we received from them at any other music venue anywhere. I cannot recommend this venue and the staff enough, they made the whole night such a wonderful experience.

Loved this venue - the sound was really crisp and good lighting. It feels big with its huge balcony. The large stage is quite high but not too much of a problem if you are standing close. Only negative for me was the treck down quite a few set of steps to find the toilets and the signage wasn't too clear for first timers.
