Cancellation policy

1. Cancellation by the Client: In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel, postpone or reduce your confirmed booking at any time prior to the event, the hotel’s cancellation policy is to require payment of 90% of contracted accommodation and room hire and 65% of contracted food and beverage revenue, this represents compensation for the loss of profit sustained by the hotel as a result of the cancellation. The sum is payable on cancellation. Any cancellation, postponement or partial cancellation should be advised to the management of the hotel in writing. The hotel will make every effort to re-sell the facilities and will subsequently reduce the cancellation charge (by way of a refund) by the profit recovered on any alternative business we have been able to secure to replace the cancelled booking. 2. Accommodation: Unless specifically GUARANTEED by the client, the hotel may release any accommodation booked (including delegate accommodation) if not taken up by 6:00pm on the day of arrival. My friend and I only stayed the one night. It was very comfortable for what we wanted, the room was a twin, very roomy. Needed a bit of TLC but doesn't everywhere theses days. The beds were very comfy, im not a good sleeper in strange beds. I had a very good night's sleep 😴. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful also you could have a bit of fun with them. Brilliant people. We would definitely stay again. 🥰😍

⭐⭐ Hotel Review The room was spacious and clean, but it could really use some upgrades. There were no ceiling lights, which made the room quite dark. Also, the electric sockets near the bed had the old round-pin type, which I didn’t realize still existed — so charging devices there was tricky. The television only had audio at first, but a staff member quickly came to fix it, which I appreciated. The bathroom was clean, and the room stayed nice and warm, so no complaints there. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mike, who went out of his way to assist. However, the telephone in the room didn’t have any information or contact numbers, which made it less useful. The hotel’s website shows a gym and swimming pool, but there were none to be found in reality. There is a bar onsite, but it was only open on weekends, and no breakfast is served onsite — you have to walk about five minutes down the road for that. Overall, it was a good price, but as they say, you get what you pay for. 30/10/2025

I have never in my life dealt with a receptionist as rude and unprofessional as Michael at Sacha Hotel in Manchester. From the moment we approached the desk, his attitude was completely unacceptable. He was abrupt, had no manners whatsoever, and made every simple request feel like a massive inconvenience. Instead of helping us or even speaking politely, he behaved as if we were bothering him just by asking basic questions. At one point, he was so uncooperative that it felt like he was close to kicking us out for no reason at all. I genuinely have never experienced service like this. His behaviour went far beyond simple bad customer service — it was disrespectful and totally unnecessary. What made things worse is that the other receptionists didn’t seem any better. They all looked miserable and uninterested, as if they absolutely hated working there. It creates a really uncomfortable environment for anyone staying at the hotel. Overall, the attitude at reception completely ruined the experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on the customer service alone. It’s honestly shocking that a hotel allows staff to treat guests this way.

Absolutely avoid. This hotel is shocking, yes it is fair priced but I feel like I would have enjoyed the night in HMP instead, felt very similar. No window (unless you pay extra), room is red hot, no overhead lights, 3 big dated lamps with old plug sockets so no plugs close to bed to charge devices, room is very very dated, shower was sprouting water from the pipe, toilet takes 5 minutes to flush, bed and pillows are rock hard, walls are paper thin so I had the lovely joy of hearing next door have a wee. If I wasn’t so tired I would have rather of slept outside, wouldn’t have felt like hell from the heat. We even checked out nearly 2 hours early because we just couldn’t stay there any longer.

There are some positives about the hotel: Location Price (though definitely pay extra for a window room) Cleanliness The rooms are surprisingly spacious There are few less positive aspects: The rooms are dated The window room was very cold and the window did nothing to keep out the outside noise There is no security measures between the street and the rooms i.e. people can walk in from the street, access the lifts and get to the corridors without needing a keycard Based on those points I'd say it's an average, budget, city centre hotel. Useful information: You need photo ID to check in Check out is 10am Important information: As a single, female traveller, I wouldn't recommend. My door didn't lock from the inside. The walls are paper thin. It was incredibly noisy on the corridor. There was also a police incident in the room opposite/next door to me. I would chalk that up to an unfortunate set of events, however the police detective that took my statement said that it's a pretty regular occurrence and he'd not let anyone he knew stay in this hotel. The investigation included forensics and took some time to resolve (again, it's incredibly concerning for the individual involved, but I was reassured the two people knew each other and it was not a "random" attack). However given lack of privacy because of the thin walls, I did hear all that was being discussed and it was very concerning. Whilst this is in no way the fault of the hotel, I felt incredibly uneasy and didn't sleep at all. I left at 6:30am. I think if I'd been with someone else, I would have felt very differently, but as I was alone it was a very unpleasant experience.
