October 2021I work away from home every week and stay in hundreds of hotels over the course of a year. I was blown away by the enthusiasm and welcome I received at reception. It takes a lot to impress me as I have seen it all, but well done Mecure Brands Hatch, very impressed and the days stress melted away upon arrival Room Perfect, Everything Perfect :)

October 2021Needs updating. Unfortunately, would have to agree with the other reviews on here. Not really a spa hotel. It's a little outdated, steam room was out of order. Floors were mucky, and needed a sweep. Might have been a great place for a spa back in the 1980's. Needs a really good clean, redecorating and brought up to modern times. On the rooms side, they were nice (we had a privilege room), good size, nice bathroom. Restaurant/ Breakfast room was more of a canteen feel, than romantic get away. Suited more for a business trip than leisure.

October 2021This hotel is situated right outside an iconic racing circuit and is essentially in the middle of nowhere. So I was shocked when they charged for overnight parking. This was not something they informed you of beforehand hand. When I queried it they stated it was because I didn't book direct. Will happily travel on the day or stay somewhere else locally that doesn't charge hidden costs. Poor show Mercure.

September 2021Do not come here for a spa day! We booked through a gift voucher but really wish I’d read reviews before. It is a rip off and not a spa experience at all. The pool had a few loungers which got full quickly, and as we arrived there was an aqua aerobics class starting which was very loud and meant we couldn’t use the pool - not ideal when you came for a relaxing day! There was no tea or coffee and only a paper cone given for water. The pool and changing rooms were run down and grime and the hot tub was full of a weird foam. You also have to pay an extra £5 for a robe, something that we expected to come with the spa experience. We only ended up staying for a couple of hours until our treatment then left straight after. The massages were ok but not great, and the treatment rooms are also quite run down. The restaurant isn’t accessible from the ‘spa’ and you would have to get changed to go there for lunch so we went somewhere else, again not ideal if you’re there for a day. The staff were really friendly and positive, but overall I would definitely not recommend going here to anyone.

October 2021Awful. Booked a "Spa Day" through a gift voucher. Would have been better off going to my local leisure centre. £5 for a robe, or you have to walk through to get your treatment in your swim costume. Floors are disgusting, the place is grimy, the hot tub was full of weird foam, and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. 6 loungers all crammed in together. For what was supposed to be a relaxing day, resulted in us leaving after about 2 hours. Steam room was broken. They cancelled our afternoon tea, which was being made, as they had an issue on their system meaning they couldn't process our voucher, so rather than give us the afternoon tea, the lady at reception walked off to the kitchen (the other side of the hotel) to tell them to stop making it as we refused to pay £25 each after we already bought the voucher. No tea, no coffee, they had one water fountain. Relaxing spa day it was not, we couldn't wait to leave! Avoid at all costs.
