Holiday Inn Derby Riverlights, Dovedale

Went to The Engine Room last night for the works Christmas do and the food was so good and absolutely amazing service 🙌 Thanks so much to the staff, and especially the lovely Rosie and another lady bringing us food and drinks, and making sure we had everything we needed all night. I highly recommend this place 👌 It's also right next to Derby bus station so very easy to get to.

Very good place to stay. I have been visiting Derby for work and this has been my go-to place to stay for couple years. They have made complete facelift to hotel by renovating the reception to first floor together with the restaurant. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a greener stay option for using room cleaning only when needed. Really enjoyed the restaurant menu. Parking in Derbion is easy and parking discount available from reception. Basically courtyard looks like how I imagine prison look like. Not really a big issue, but it would be generally good idea to make courtyard look more attractive.

Good hotel. Nice spacious room. Was very clean and staff were great. Just very noisy from people using the gym as it was right outside my door on the 2nd floor corridor.
