A Valentine dinner designed to create the warmth and cosy ambiance of this the most romantic date in the calendar was not on the menu at KH this year. Since when was a champagne reception with a poor selection of canapés conducted at a table in an almost empty dining room. Where was the soft music emanating from a baby grand or even from an audio system playing gently on the ear? Ravioli would not be the first choice for many vegetarians leaving in fact, no choice. A rose on the table being the only real suggestion of a Valentine evening left the whole evening bereft of virtually all sense of occasion. In addition, the overall service was sadly lacking in attention to the needs of your guests. There was no Heart in this evening.
