The Cut, The Bar

I've visited this establishment on a number of occasions, whether for pre-theatre drinks and food or simply to grab a drink or a bite to eat as part of a day out. On every visit, I've found the atmosphere to be friendly and inviting, with a great selection of food and drinks. In fact, it makes me wonder why I've never reviewed The Cut before. During my most recent visit, I ordered my usual go-to cocktail, an Old Fashioned, which I tend to use as my benchmark. I'm pleased to say I wasn't disappointed. Sahelle (I hope I've spelt her name correctly), my lovely bartender, put a little twist on the drink that made it even more enjoyable. Her service perfectly reflected the warm and welcoming atmosphere that The Cut consistently provides. Needless to say, as I have done many times before, I'll be returning for more food and drinks in the future.

Small menu but everything we ordered was good. Range of beers worked. Atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste but got quieter as the evening progressed. I enjoyed visiting The C.ut

Relaxed vibe. I had the steak (average), patatas bravas (better) and sticky toffee pud (lush). Friendly service and we stayed way beyond our table turn as the place was half empty on Friday night. Better experience than the 'flat' iron next door ;)
