Victor's Oxford, Semi Exclusive

Very nice restaurant which we repeatedly visit. Ribeye was cooked exactly the way we ordered - medium rare. Very well seasoned and the half roasted garlic further complemented the already delicious steak well. Salmon was also well cooked and seasoned perfectly. We ordered some sides (only managed to take picture of the Panko Squid) which were all very tasty. All in all, the restaurant definitely delivered the food to a high degree of quality, prompting us to go back multiple times. It is also a great place to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very nice and prepared a sparkler to add some ambience. They also made some jokes with us, making the whole experience enjoyable. Decorations and ambience of the restaurant was well thought out, and all our experiences here have been great.

Visited the second time to show this restaurant to my boyfriend, because I loved it the first time and we weren’t disappointed. Very friendly staff, the food was great and the prices are fine as well. I absolutely love the interior design!

The food here is really nice. The mushroom croquettes are DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is also very nice. One thing I found a little disappointing was that we had to pay £12 for service charge. The waitress took our order and gave us the food… I don’t know if I would agree that it was £12 of worth of service. Another thing I found a bit unsatisfying was that we were offered tap water in which we then were charged £4.20 The music was a bit too loud for us, so this is a place I’d go to for a celebration or a special occasion. I had to shout at my friend in order for him to hear me. However, It is a restaurant & bar so we completely understand why the music was that loud. I booked the table 18:30-20:00 but we were told to leave before 7:30. £94.70 for the food we had (good price) + £11.84 service charge 12.50% The food and experience was definitely worth trying out but I don’t think I’m going here again. I might try out the afternoon tea 😊
