Fancy giving curling a go and learning the basics? Well, you’ve come to the right place! In our coach-led beginners curling skills sessions, you’ll be shown how to play commonly played shots and start to understand the tactics of the game. The Beginners Curling Skills Session is the perfect session for those wanting a taster of the popular Olympic sport.
Fancy getting a little more competitive? The Team Bonding Try Curling Session is a two-hour introduction to the sport of curling, where you’ll be shown how to deliver the stone from standing, how to guide the stone along the ice by sweeping and learn the tactics of the game. Once you’ve mastered the above, you’ll finish the session by playing a friendly, yet competitive, game of curling!

Cancellation policy
To secure your reservation, a 50% deposit is required within seven days of making your booking. If the booking is made within four weeks of the event, full payment is required. All deposits/payments are non-refundable or transferable. In the event of a cancellation by the client, The Flower Bowl will retain the deposit and any other sums paid by the client without prejudice to any other rights The Flower Bowl may have. The Flower Bowl will retain the original non-refundable deposit as a minimum to cover the administrative costs of planning and preparing the event.

All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult over 21 at all times.

March 2024Absolutely fantastic. It was our first visit there, and it most certainly will not be the last. Our grandchildren loved it to bits. We went as a family, with both my sons, in their late 30's and one early 40's and both their families, we all had an amazing time, so thank you to all the staff for making our visit very memorable.

January 2024Cracking hour spent learning to curl. Everything we needed was provided, which is good because who's carrying round a 41lb slab of granite with a handle. The ice was remarkable unslippy to walk on, somehow the shoes they provide stick to the ice. The two young instructors were excellent.

So much better than your normal cinema experience with a great atmosphere and really attentive staff who go out of their way to help and show you directly to your seat! Taking a cuppa in a cup and saucer into the film is different too! Just like sitting in your own (extended) front room.
