⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Luxurious Escape in the Scottish Countryside!!! Our stay at Schloss Roxburghe was nothing short of extraordinary! This beautiful destination by Hyatt seamlessly blends historic charm with modern luxury, making it an ideal retreat in the Scottish countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff. The check-in process was smooth, and we were promptly escorted to our stunning room, which was spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The amenities at Schloss Roxburghe are top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa, which provided a serene and relaxing experience. The on-site golf course is beautifully maintained and offers a challenging yet enjoyable round for golf enthusiasts. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight of our stay. The menu features a delectable selection of locally sourced dishes, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Breakfast each morning was a delightful start to the day, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The grounds of the estate are perfect for leisurely strolls, and we loved exploring the scenic walking trails. The blend of natural beauty and historic architecture creates an enchanting atmosphere that is hard to beat. Overall, Schloss Roxburghe exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a perfect destination for anyone seeking a luxurious and tranquil getaway. We can’t wait to return and experience this exceptional hospitality again.

Fantastic stay! My wife and I spent three days here last week. Amazing hotel facilities! Spa was over the top! Restaurant was fantastic. The entire experience was “five stars!”

My husband and I stayed two nights during our honeymoon. The hotel and spa is incredibly relaxing. The staff are all very nice, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful. The food is delicious. We hope to be back!

A fantastic location, grounds and our room was amazing, really raised our expectations of the hotel. Check in and check out however was chaotic and slow which was disappointing. We didn't access the spa but did use the gym which was well appointed and clean. Our meal was in the new fine dining restaurant. The wine pairing & sommelier was great and the food was good but the were some dishes that needed better seasoning. The bar was great, lots of choice and an amazing barman, pity he is leaving! The most disappointing part of our stay was breakfast. For that type of hotel to have a bog standard buffet breakfast is not appropriate and again the whole atmosphere was chaotic with people milling about everywhere. All in all a great room and hotel venue but does need to re-think some of it's dining concepts for the brand.

Our stay was just ok - our cottage was beautiful but we didn't feel very welcome. Starting off with checkin which was cold and unwelcoming. When we arrived I went inside and said hello, I would like to checkin and got the response: "name?". I am a Hyatt Globalist and while we did get breakfast after asking several times, the whole experience wasn't warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was very good I must add and the service in the restaurant both at dinner and especially at breakfast was also quite good. I guess this is yet another independent hotel that has joined the Hyatt brand but when it comes to providing the benefits they act like they don't belong to it. Recommend against staying here unless their service level improves.
