Jailhouse Bar, set within the former Police Station of the Old Street Magistrate’s Court, celebrates the very best of the drinks world with innovative and delicious cocktails and a wide array of other beverages on offer, whilst being surrounded by historically significant architecture, including former prison holding cells. Jailhouse Bar serves as a relaxed lounge area throughout the day, perfect for meetings and coffees, and then transforms into an after-work hub for those looking to unwind with a drink or two post 5pm. Jailhouse Bar also happily provides bottle service, private hire in the cells, and semi-exclusive spaces for larger parties. The Jailhouse Bar also offers the quintessentially British staple of Afternoon Tea every day from 12pm, however done Shoreditch style

This is a truly fantastic hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to ensure my stay was a 10/10 experience. The room was lovely with an incredible view, and the gym/sauna/pool area is second to none. Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a marvelous stay in the heart of the city.

I stayed at the Courthouse Shoreditch hotel recently in September 2025 for a 1 week business trip. The staffs provides excellent services. I took a red-eye 14 hours flight and was hoping to get early check-in. Staffs reception Kseniia and Jasvir managed to find a room for me soon. Many thanks to their support for making a room available for me at short notice. I had lunch at their level 1 cafe, ordered a Spaghetti with Grill Chicken. The spaghetti was bland and the chicken is bland and overly charred. Despite the less than satisfied food experience, Staff Roshani provides excellent customer service. Breakfast daily at the hotel is okay. The mushroom and bacon are nice. But the breakfast food menu is the same everyday. Please consider making slight changes to the daily breakfast. Staff Rafika at the breakfast cafe provides very good customer services ensuing my needs are met. The shower area in my hotel room 107 gets flooded easily when I took just a 15 min shower. Hope the staff has a chance to fix this issue. I look forward to my next trip to London, and hope to stay with Hotel Courthouse Shoreditch again. Looking forward to improved room and food experiences the next time.

I went for a Spa experience, bought a deal on groupon. The changing rooms were okay, a part the moldy showers. The sauna stinks and swimming pool so dirty, the water was oily!!! We only manage to stay an hour, very disappointed!!!!!
