Arros QD is the result of chef Quique Dacosta’s lifelong passion for paella and wood-fired cooking, brought to life in the heart of Fitzrovia. Everything revolves around the six-metre woodfire stove where our chefs weave their magic, with theatrical seating around the open kitchen downstairs and a classic dining experience on the upper floor.

Our space was conceived by globally renowned Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with open fires and a glazed wine cellar providing a spectacular visual backdrop in which to experience the evolution of paella. Our menu combines Mediterranean influences with locally sourced ingredients, accompanied by classic wines from around the world, as well as many undiscovered Spanish gems that you will find nowhere else in London.

The stunning Light Room, from classic dining experience to specially tailored events. Called light room due to the design of the room, full of different shapes of lamps and chandeliers.

The Space has a lot of daylight during lunchtime and is equipped with separate music control. The casual dining setup and cosy booths lends itself perfectly for a informal seated or standing event.

This is not a classic Spanish cuisine, but more original and reinterpreted by the chef. Food for London and Britain as a whole is above average. Sometimes the staff does not keep up with the service. Delicious paella and Basque cheesecake.

Decor is high end and stylish. Welcoming staff. We had a table upstairs in a sumptuous curved green booth. Not many people upstairs so was good for conversation. Server was friendly and helpful. Had to wait a while for our two paellas to be ready so perhaps we should have ordered some appetisers but we didn't want to ruin our appetite for the main event. We went for the eel and duck and the txangurro (crab). The eel and duck was unusual and very tasty. Crab was tasty too. We also tried the monkfish tagliatelle but the 'pasta' was super soft it melts in your mouth. Subsequently found out they use wonton skin so no wonder lol I had asked for the pasta to be cooked for longer given a tooth issue one of our diners had. Turns out I probably didn't need to! The sauce is rich and strong in the monkfish dish. Tad on the expensive side imo but given it takes a long time.to cook the paellas it's probably a reflection of such. Desserts were interesting. The gorgonzola basque cheesecake is rich, creamy, strong and packs a punch but good. You can take what you don't finish home! Warm choc cake thing with gold leaf is ok but a bit too mushy on texture. Almond cloud cake with candy floss was interesting but not our favourite. Came with a 'happy birthday' plate with a candle.
