Lovely setting for a wedding which we attended. The dining room where the wedding breakfast took place was beautifully decorated and air conditioned which was very welcome on a very hot day. Public rooms very elegant and the grounds lovely. Staff were polite and professional.

Amazing value secret escapes trip. Room was tip top. No air con but an effective fan All newly decorated and daily cleaning service. Little bit small but everything else was spot on. The staff were professional and friendly and the grounds were gorgeous. Great leisure facilities. Esp. The sauna. The meals in the restaurant really were a cut above. Hotel is also so well located. We really were impressed overall.

Wonderful place for a romantic getaway, or a break with the whole family and the dog too. New Place Hotel caters for all. Staff are delightfully friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and we'll maintained. The leisure facilities are more than adequate for a family swim or if you want to do laps. The dinner menu looked unimpressive, but the food was sublime, and we'll executed. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

4/5 star food. 3/4 star rooms. 3/4star leisure facilities. A really nice stay. Lovely staff. Scrambled eggs the only naff thing. White and looked like porridge. Best rib eye I have had for years. Slow lamb a delight.

I stayed here Monday to Friday on a work trip and had a wonderful stay. The ladies at the front reception desk were lovely and very helpful, patient especially considering I asked them the same question more than once (long day!) the room was small but tidy, comfortable for one person. It was very warm outside but I was lucky that the sun never hit my room so it stayed quite cool, just luck of the draw which direction your room is facing. The bathroom is modern and clean, the shower is great with good water pressure. I did have a small problem with the walls being being thin, and I was woken up by my neighbours entering and leaving their room. I didn't mark the hotel down for this as it might have just been noisy neighbours. I had breakfast included in my stay and it was pretty standard, nothing really stood out to me except how beautiful the dining room was. Dinner, however blew me away. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and the real of the meal was in similar shape , and all very reasonably priced for a hotel so far away from everything. There seems to be free parking which is fantastic if you have a car, and I would recommend having a car, as the closest bus stop is a 7 minute walk away and only comes once per hour which was frustrating for me to line up my work (no car) All in all the grounds are certainly lovely, the staff were really pleasant and accommodating, and I was grateful it didn't rain as its more of a "lodge" style rather than a hotel.
