Nestled in the vibrant hub of Shoreditch, Close-Up is your go-to venue for all your screening requirements. Whether you're planning a press screening, corporate event, presentation, conference, cast and crew preview, or celebrating a Christmas or birthday party, we've got you covered.
Our state-of-the-art cinema is available to hire on an hourly basis, either as a stand-alone screening room or as a full venue hire. Our adjoined café and bar is fully licensed and offers a convivial atmosphere for drinks receptions or informal post-screening discussion. The 40-seat cinema is fully equipped with a 2K NEC D-cinema, 2 x Kinoton FP30-D 35mm and EX 6000 16mm projectors and Dolby 5.1 surround.
Café & Bar Our café & bar offers a unique setting surrounded by our film and book library. We also have a serene courtyard area, ideal for the summer months. From corporate hospitality to conferences to birthday parties our venue is also available for bespoke private hire.

May 2024Beautiful collection of books and films in the venue, and they were super accommodating to my group. Booked a private screening of the Big Lebowski for 30 people and they even accommodated a short video at the start, may have even gone over our time a little but they were really good about it. No issues whatsoever and a smooth process in a gorgeous venue. Screen and seats comfort were 10/10. Thanks guys! Highly reccomend.
