This would be 5 star if the room interior were less dated. The staff were fabulous. The buffet breakfast is incredible (definitely buy the voucher the night before) and the bar/lounge area is stylish and comfortable. If you are a cricket fan, the proximity to Lords is the icing on the cake. Will definitely return.

I find this place an oddity. It’s aesthetically very pleasing and the senior staff give off an air of good training and knowledge, some of the junior staff less so. On check-in I was pleasantly surprised that our king room had been upgraded to a deluxe king; however, if this room was deluxe, I’m glad we didn’t even see the booked room. It was a small, corner room with tiny windows, letting in virtually no natural light, overlooking the bin yard. The normal room we had in our last stay was bigger and better. Nevertheless, it was clean, very comfortable and for the rate we paid including breakfast was very good VFM for that location. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent (now back in the lovely Minsky’s restaurant.) I would like to see rules requiring guests to wear masks over the buffet but everywhere I’ve been recently it seems we’ve cured Covid. Overall, though, a very brief but decent stay.

Prices here are good but the hotel needs a serious makeover. The rooms are old and showing their age. They started renovating a few years ago and then stopped. New management bit as good as the previous.

Stayed for the one night when watching the Hundred Final. Great location and literally 2 minutes from the ground. Staff, room and breakfast were all fantastic.

Great Venue for events, nice lobby bar & central location, close enough to pop out to Regents Park 🙏
