An amazing space. Gracious hosts. A myriad of memories! The space offers a range of amenities and two floors to suit any occasion. I had my baby shower here and a year later had my baby’s first birthday party there as well! It really was a hassle-free experience. They have competitive hourly rates and I can honestly say that I’d definitely use this space in the future and would recommend it to everyone!!

This venue is absolutely superb!!! We had my sister and her husband’s baby shower here and could not have asked for more. The venue was so versatile and all of our guests said how much they loved it. The hosts are wonderful and allowed me to pop by before hand to visit and see the space. There are lots of chairs, tables and all kinds of other amenities to use. It’s a fantastic blank canvas for any kind of event. They also have an incredible picture hanging system which we found very useful to hang some of our decorations. Will absolutely be returning for future parties. Top notch!

I recently held a book launch in The Living Room Place. It's a great place to hold an intimate event and easy to find. I definitely will use it again 👍🏽

I last minute booked this space last week for my son's 2nd birthday party as I was originally meant to do this in my parents garden but due to the bad weather conditions I wanted something indoors. I contacted the venue and fortunately they were available the following day and the booking process was easy. The space was left clean from the previous event and I liked how there was a lot of natural lighting in the room and that furniture was provided (4 tables and lots of fold up chairs) I would describe the room as a blank canvas so if you are holding an event you will need to dress it up. There is a track provided which is hung along the top of the walls which will allow you to hang anything. We also had the use of downstairs which felt homely however it did feel a bit stuffy as there were no windows. - Fans are provided though. You will be able to park for free on the side roads outside which was great and made it easy for me to unload things in the car. Overall we had a great experience using this venue and I would recommend, however the only down side was that you have to bring all your rubbish with you as there are no facilities to dispose of waste near by. Thank you for accommodating us last minute, the place worked very well for our occasion and we were happy we went ahead with the booking.

The living room is a very lovely space, very bright room (which was good for photos) as it’s directly on the side road. It was very homely, you know, we had the place for ourselves moved around as we wanted with no hindrance. The fee was affordable as well as it was a weekday event- i wish I paid for more time as my people were very late🤨 The kitchen looked stuff- microwave and stuff though I didn’t use any of those. The loo had sufficient tissues. My issue with the place was it was really noisy and we could hardly hear each other (I didn’t realise it was on a busy commercial road) and it was very hot so doors had to be left opened (and I didn’t appreciate this as people kept looking in, someone even came to stop our event to ask questions about giving a free table). I also think for really hot times like this more cool fans should be invested in so that all areas of the room both upstairs and down was covered. The loo also didn’t have an air fresher even the main rooms- just to give a nice scent The windows could not be opened as well. Lastly it is very weird that no provision for emptying bins are available, I mean am I expected to carry dirt all the way back to East London on a public transport? It will be nice if the owners know places around and recommend To people as I don’t live in the area at all. We had to make the best of the day in the hot weather (I don’t blame the venue owners though)
