Located in South Staffordshire, The Mount Hotel has been a popular wedding destination for over 60 years. Throughout its rich history, the impressive venue has opened its doors to royalty, aristocracy, and all manner of stars, who have all enjoyed the excellent service on offer.
Our events team are celebrated for their dedication and care; they will help you every step of the way to ensure that everything from the plans to the celebration itself run seamlessly. From the minute details to the most important, allow our team to take some of the worry out of process.
At the Mount Hotel, we have several, fully licensed, suites in which you can say your vows. The Great Hall is a truly breathtaking room. As our largest area on offer, it can accommodate up to 150 guests for the ceremony and 125 for a seated wedding breakfast. The sheer majesty of the room is sure to impress you and your guests.
The Mander’s Suite has been recently refurbished and has the capacity for up to 100 guests for a ceremony and dining. For a much smaller, more intimate affair, the Wightwick Suite accommodates up to 50 of your friends and family.
The Mount Hotel is one of the only venues based in the Midlands that can hold outdoor civil ceremonies. For this, our perfectly manicured gardens are ideal.
For your wedding breakfast, our 2 AA Rosette-awarded chefs have complied a fantastic menu or can cater to any other cuisine requirements you may have. We take pride in the fact that all of our food is made from the best of Britain's seasonal produce.
For your overnight stay, we offer a complimentary stay in one of our newly refurbished bridal suites. We also have a further 65 rooms and suites with special rates for your friends and family.

March 2024I came to The Mount for afternoon tea, to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom, sister and daughters. I hadn’t been for a few years because my previous experience wasn’t a good one. But I was extremely won over this time around. This old building is beautiful and everywhere is clean and highly polished. The conservatory that we were in was dressed like it was a wedding reception and was lovely and airy and warm. The staff were extremely attentive, polite and friendly. The food was gorgeous. Although there is more sweet than savoury, which suits me, but not everyone I suppose. But we were offered a box to take home what we couldn’t finish eating. The only negative I can say was the singer! It was a nice touch to have a live performer but, it meant we couldn’t have a conversation easily because of it. But overall we all enjoyed the afternoon experience

May 2024I stayed at this hotel last night, and it was amazing. The staff were amazing and attentive during dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and the best I have had for a while. The staff on the front desk were welcoming and sorted an issue I had straight away. Thank you for an amazing stay, and I hope to be back soon.

March 2024Took my mom here for mothers day. Such a lovely day and wonderful service. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. Lovely singer which made the atmosphere so appropriate for the setting. At the end each mom were given a box of chocolates. The whole afternoon was really lovely. Would definitely recommend.

May 2024Very impressed with this place. Beautiful building and gardens, lots of space to sit and enjoy a drink. The room was a good size. Can not fault the service, especially from Damian the bar manager. He could not do enough for us, really made us feel welcome and it felt like we had known him for years. Damian went above and beyond and he showed he just loved his job! Great stuff, if we find ourselves in Wolverhampton again, we will definitely re-book
