Great wedding venue with The Orangery being absolutely stunning. The hotel was clean, peaceful and welcoming even by the hotel Cat! The rooms are a little dated but you can get a decent night sleep, the bathrooms needed to be looked at as they weren’t in the best shape.

We stayed in July 2023. This place is absolutely gorgeous! The grounds are breathtaking! The location is perfect and near the M5 and easy to get to other places. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel centred in a lovely old home. We were in the newer rooms in the newer part of the hotel but they were still very nice and comfortable. The hotel has some lovely grounds but is in the middle of nowhere - you can't have it both ways! It's not far from Bristol and Gloucester so it's easy to get to places nearby. The swimming pool is a bit small and can get very crowded on Friday evening so we had to book a slot to swim but it does have a jacuzzi and there is a sauna upstairs next to the ladies changing rooms. Saturday morning was quieter for a swim. It had around ten EV charging points and although we had trouble with ours the staff sorted it out quickly. The restaurant had a lovely slightly casual atmosphere as did the bar next to it and the service was good but not too intrusive although the food is a little expensive - 2 course evening meal for two plus wine was over £100. Overall a lovely hotel and a nice treat but for us, we only go when we can get it on an offer or the cost mounts up.

Absolutely delightful stay at De Vere Tortworth Court! The well-maintained property boasts an incredible building that adds charm to the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere. The upkeep is impressive, and overall, it’s a very nice hotel that I would highly recommend

Great place, lovely, helpful and friendly staff but the bedroom was a disappointment. Most of the room was taken up with a super king bed which left just enough space to walk round. The wall opposite the bed was dominated by a large TV and the window was small and made smaller still by the curtains. The bathroom was good with an excellent shower. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The provision of EV charging was much appreciated.
