Our experience at 14 Hills was nice but I think a little pricey for what it is. The view is amazing and second to none. We went at night so it was lovely seeing all of the buildings lit up. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is quite relaxing which we liked. We were sat next to a table where they then decided to do a photo shoot (with a ring light and all) which was very bright and quite annoying ruining some of the experience for us - and this lasted around 10-15 minutes. Not the fault of the restaurant but frustrating nevertheless. The service was ok. There was a bit of a mixup on whether they had a bottle of wine in stock which meant it then took around 20 minutes to get a drink but it was resolved eventually. The food itself was good. The portions were small but expected in a restaurant like that. We had three courses and were “satisfied”. My main was the highlight which was the lamb, with some mash puree and a bit of veg (would’ve liked to see more). The chocolate dessert was lovely but the addition of the sorbet that came with it was a bit of a strange combo. Our bill ended up being £180 for a bottle of wine and three courses each so whilst it was nice would probably go elsewhere if we wanted a fine dining experience again. Overall a 4/5 experience.

We had dinner at 14 Hills with some friends. The ambience and interior of the restaurant and views of the city are all stunning. I found the lady working on the front desk/ cloakroom to be so friendly and welcoming, the other staff could maybe take a leaf out of her book. The service was very slow at times, especially taking our order for drinks and serving the drinks to us, and we had to remind staff of things we had ordered and were waiting for. We ordered chateaubriand which was tasty and the béarnaise sauce was to die for! However I have certainly tasted better elsewhere and to be honest I was expecting to be blown away with the price tag. The Gavi wine was delicious. 13.5% service charge is added to the bill which I feel is rather high. I have been to better places in London for a fraction of the price but it was a lovely evening, I just wouldn't rush back. You are ultimately paying for the views. The food is good but does not have the wow factor.

Such a charming spot with delightful ambiance and excellent music. We tried their Sunday brunch menu, which wasn't à la carte. Unfortunately, the food quality didn't quite live up to expectations. However, their cocktails are worth a visit. Attached is a photo of the chicken with waffles. KFC undoubtedly has a superior breading mix.
