I have enjoyed my stay at this beautiful Inn. The surroundings are full of character and charm, with the inviting open fires, hop laden beamed ceilings and very comfortable rooms to return to after work has been a pleasure. The attention to detail in the rooms makes the stay special with very comfortable beds, white linen and the added bonus of your own nespresso machine. The breakfast is a real treat with plenty of choice, including warm croissants, homemade preserves and a fabulous full English. The staff and owner are great, accommodating, approachable and very professional. Thankyou all for making me feel very welcome.

We can’t speak highly enough of the Ferry House Inn, and we're so pleased to have had it as our wedding venue. From viewing and booking the venue, to planning and having the wedding, the team of co-ordinators kept us regularly informed and prepared for the next stage of the wedding. Samantha, Beth and Chloe were our coordinators on the day and were simply brilliant at taking care of everything so that we could relax and enjoy the day. The food is utterly delicious, sourced locally, and served by attentive staff. Susie, Alex and Charlotte were excellent behind the bar. The on-site accommodation and nearby cottages are well-equipped and have a rustic charm, meaning that guests can stay very nearby for the wedding. We had an incredible day and would recommend the Ferry House Inn without hesitation. We'd give it 6 stars if we could!

We used The Ferry House as the venue for my daughters wedding and we were not disappointed. The venue, the staff, the food, the service and the rooms surpassed all expectations by a long long way. What an amazing venue, highly recommended, every member of the wedding party commented to me how good it was and what a great choice. Yeah its a little bit out of the way and the road in is a bit rough but, that just ads to the charm. Thank you to all the staff, you were all fantastic. Adam Carter.

Had a very enjoyable afternoon tea with friends, the selection of food items were superb and the service was exceptional. Stephen (front of house) is a great host and made us feel very welcome and Suzie (our waitress) was very attentive. We were seated promptly. The presentation of the food was lovely and very in keeping with the countryside theme. Very good value for money and the Inn itself is very nicely furnished with some finishing touches make it that feel that extra bit special.

This is in a superb wild location with great views over the estuary and plenty of birds. The staff were attentive and the pub/restaurant was welcoming. The menu was very small and if staying more than one night it would have been a bit restrictive. The dinner was good although not outstanding but was made with fresh local ingredients. Breakfast was lovely with home made sausages and bacon. The rooms were fresh, new, clean and beds comfortable. Dog friendly with a £20 charge.
